Warrior Heart, Conquering Life’s Challenges

My mother Devorah has faced many, many, obstacles. All of them combined are more than most people face. Imagine having to wake up every day exhausted and live your life with a smile, helping many people. She does this every day despite the hardships she faces, yet she still makes the best out of each day- often putting her kids and others before herself. After forty-six years of pain along with five major surgeries from 2022-2024, she is slowly rising out of the depths to aim for her dreams. She serves G-D with joy and conquers life’s challenges with a smile. These characteristics are what have kept her going despite the fires of adversity and pain. Now picture a warrior- tired after today’s battles, riding on his horse- yet triumphant because of the reward that lies ahead. There may be an arrow in his heart, but his sword is with him ready to face the obstacles and get the handsome reward that awaits. My mother Devorah has shown these qualities and goes beyond showing how brave and valiant a warrior she is. This piano piece shows it with the depth of her heart despite the wounds. Take a minute to think about how you would have felt dealing with tragedy most of your life. Then realize that this woman- my mother- has done it and will succeed. She is determined to do it, and she communicates with us using the piano along with her voice spiritually and physically. She will succeed and prove the pain wrong.
